An Amazing Tour of Senegal and Ghana West Africa - Our trip to Ghana and Senegal was amazing thanks to the Tourpedia Travel team. My family and I will always cherish our memories of this trip. Our itinerary gave us an opportunity to see the cities, immerse ourselves in the culture, experience the vast history of the two countries as well as, visit the beautiful coastal resort areas. We were provided with France speaking tours guides in Senegal who shadowed us throughout our stay. Our time in Ghana included a special birthday celebration that was planned by Tourpedia's Chief Travel Agent, Tara. The celebration was awesome and unforgettable. Tara's attention to detail and personalized customer service was most impressive. I plan to return to Africa next year and explore other countries. When I return, I will surely use Tourpedia Travel. It is a five star operation.

Amazing travel Experience in Ghana - My family recently toured Ghana with Tourpedia Travel during the holidays. It was an incredible experience from start to finish. Tara and her team paid attention to every detail such that every age group from 5-78 could participate. The accommodations were excellent. Our tour was an immersive, fun and educational vacation. The team was responsive to our needs, flexible and made us feel welcomed and safe. Tara is an excellent planner, intentional and attentive. While there were deeply emotional moments during the tour (ie Cape Coast Castle and Slave River) it was balanced with time to reflect and joy (ie drum and dancing). We are already looking forward to our next visit to Ghana. I highly recommend Tara and Tourpedia Travel to anyone looking for a top notch, well executed travel experience to Ghana.

An amazing experience that exceeded expectation due to Tourpedia Travel's expert organization and tour guiding. - Tourpedia Travel is a professional travel agency that exceeds expectations in its tour organization, hotel accommodation, and tour guide. In May 2023, a group of 25 pilgrims visited Ghana to seek rest, cultural immersion, and spiritual renewal. Our host, Tourpedia Travel, met us at the airport and took us to our 5-star Labadi Beach Hotel. After resting well for the night, the next day, we toured the city of Accra, seeing the great marketplace and eating appetizing Ghanaian food and desserts. For the rest of the six days, we visited the village of Fodzoku, where we received our new names and socialized with the villagers: adults and children. The slave castles and Slave River left a somber impact on us. But because of the expert explanations the tour guides gave us, we processed the massive information we received and returned to the US well-rested and knowledgeable. Thanks to Tourpedia Travel for executing the pilgrimage so expertly. I am already organizing another group to Ghana in June 2024

A Week As A Fish Out Of Water - Traveling to Ghana was not something I'd ever entertained. It simply had never entered my mind but when the opportunity presented itself I signed on. Having never been to Africa before I tried to keep an open mind and found myself looking forward to the trip more and more as the date approached. I knew Ghana would prove to be unlike anywhere else I'd traveled before - which had totaled some 13 countries - so I really didn't know what to expect. Our group made arrangements through Tourpedia Travel and we met the owner, Tara, in a couple of advance online meetings where she was able to answer everyone's questions concerning local etiquette and customs, etc. On arrival, Tara proved even more personable along with the rest of her staff but I have to single out Mariam in particular who was a complete joy as she tirelessly answered questions about things we saw while leading our group on its travels between Accra, Kumasi, and Cape Coast. I witnessed her bend over backward to honor everyone's requests to stop here and there, or to locate a particular item someone wanted to purchase - all the while making it look easy and effortless. Mariam was well-chosen for her role as tour leader and was absolutely indispensable assisting in negotiating with vendors to help her poor tourists understand if a purchase was wise. I will admit to being completely and most pleasantly surprised to find our tour bus - deftly maneuvered by a skilled driver across hundreds of miles of roads where I'd have torn the suspension off and left it lying in a ditch - was basically an on-call vehicle for personal excursions of a reasonable distance when not being employed for the whole group. Normally on group tours, once the bus is gone it's unavailable until the next time the whole group needed to board, yet when I wished to locate a specific place in the Jamestown area of Accra, Mariam arranged personal pick-up and drop-off and accompanied me throughout the journey. She even made the trek on foot with me, a fellow traveler, and a local from Jamestown whom Mariam located in advance to show us the way. I can't say enough about her except that she probably deserves a raise. Getting back to Tourpedia Travel........ Our days were filled with activity from morning through dinner. There was never a time where we were left idle wondering what to do or where the bus had gone. Every expectation was met and great care had been made in advance choosing our dining locations, with no repeats. I would have zero hesitation about booking through Tourpedia again whether in Ghana or elsewhere in Africa. Tara and company have their act together!

Incredible 16-day tour of Ghana! - Tara and her team planned an unforgettable 16-day tour around Ghana for our family of 4. Everyone at Tourpedia was kind, helpful, and so caring. We feel like we are now part of the Tourpedia family! From the first time I contacted Tara to discuss the trip, she was attentive to our interests and wanted to put together a trip that matched our requests. The itinerary that she put together for us was exactly what we were hoping for: an opportunity to travel around Ghana and to get an immersive cultural experience. We really enjoyed all of the sites that we visited and especially liked the extra experiences that Tara and her team planned for us, including a cooking lesson and meal with a Ghanian family, a drum lesson at the University of Accra, and a naming ceremony in a small village in the Volta Region. Best of all were our guide, Mariam, and our drive, Mustapha. They were both so kind, accommodating, and willing to share their experiences. We loved spending time with them. Because the Tourpedia team took such good care of us, we could enjoy 100% of our vacation time and didn't have any hassles or worries. We will always treasure this time that we spent in Ghana thanks to the wonderful work of Tara, Mariam, Mustapha, and the rest of the outstanding Tourpedia team.

An amazing tour of Greater Accra Ghana - We booked a last minute tour to Cape Coast (Slave Castles) & Kakum Park (Canopy walk). Tara was so accommodating and exceeded our expectations in every way! Her staff arrived 15 minutes early in an air-conditioned bus stocked with cold waters and added such a rich experience as we embarked on the 3 hour drive from Accra! Martina shared so many insights that you wouldn’t get just by reading online blogs or a book and that was much appreciated! In addition, she made a couple of unexpected stops to get coconut water, plantain chips and to stop and see cocoa trees which once again added on to the experience! I’m a well experienced traveler and this tour is a must have if you want a unique & attentive experience! Our driver was also great & accompanied us and took tons of amazing pics & videos. If you want a first-class tour experience book them!!!!

Foodie Experience - The organization and attention to detail by Tara for this experience was impeccable. I traveled to Ghana and Tara handled the booking of some of my accommodations. We also wanted to have a Fulani food experience. Tara arranged all the details of the private event for me and my friends and all we had to do was show up. She was there when we arrived and made sure everything went smoothly. I highly recommend her for the seamless planning. If you are someone who doesn’t like stress and you are traveling to Ghana, call Tara
