Highlights
  • Acantilado de los Gigantes - We will make you enjoy it in a different way, without stress, We will sail towards the island of La Gomera, with the impressive Los Gigantes Cliffs in the background. For the first inhabitants of Tenerife, the world ended in the extreme northwest of the island, where an impassable rock wall stood. It was about what is now known as Los Gigantes cliffs, at this point is where our journey begins.

Los Gigantes respond to the classification of ancient cliff, product of the modeling of an old massif and is appreciated, for its proportions, as a mega cliff. It measures between 300 and 600 m and is buried in the water no more than 30 m deep. Its walls are not uniform, they also present the traces of erosion, leaving some ravines hanging with difficult access; some virgin beaches and coves are also present along this coastline.

In our navigation we will carry out the activity of Cetacean Watching Tenerife.

What's Included
  • Lunch included
  • Snorkeling equipment provided
Additional Information

Our journey commences from the marina at Los Gigantes Cliffs, steering southwest for a few miles off the coastline. Our main aim is to locate some of the Cetacean families, such as the Tropical Calderones, who inhabit this vicinity. We then steer towards the incredibly beautiful Los Gigantes Cliffs that are home to a variety of sea birds and where there’s a chance to spot some sea turtles.

Concluding the trip, we anchor near the coastline after our whale-watching expedition. We always strive to find the most pleasurable spot for our clients to indulge in a swim or snorkeling session.

Exceeded all expectations! - We booked the experience online, so had little idea what to expect…. They completely outdid themselves, specially Sara from Madrid! What a gem!!! Not only is she so passionate about her job but she has all the hospitality skills to make everyone on board comfortable, happy and feel very safe! The food was incredibly tasty and fresh, the information shared on tour was so interesting and we felt very comfortable with their approach to the animals in the sea! Thankyou for making our morning so enjoyable, we want to do it all over again for a full day! Thanks to Captain Fede too!!

Whales & Dolphins (as Terrorvision would say). - Had the most amazing time. Not one who naturally enjoys boats this was great and we saw Whales & Dolphins….Sarah and James were excellent hosts, knowledgeable about the area but also the conservation aspects. Lunch was tapas style and very much appreciated. Would highly this to anyone who is unsure of their sea legs.

Amazing afternoon with Picarus sailing - It's been a while since I took this trip, but I vividly remember it, and I definitely want to make a recommendation. Last April, my husband and I visited Tenerife and decided to go on a boat trip around the island. Our main goal was to enjoy some quality time, admire the island landscapes from the sea, have a refreshing swim, and if possible, catch a glimpse of some cetaceans. Fortunately, we had the chance to experience all of these. The day didn't start well as there was an issue with our booking, which was originally scheduled for the morning slot. However, the crew was very accommodating and managed to reschedule us for the afternoon slot. They even suggested that we take a walk in the Los Gigantes village and have a swim in the oceanic pool while waiting. Once the trip began, it was truly enjoyable. The crew provided us with fascinating insights into the fauna of Tenerife's waters. We were lucky enough to spot some dolphins and whales from a safe distance, and we got a closer look at nearby La Gomera. The view of the majestic Teide volcano from the sea was simply breathtaking. It's important to mention that we were a small group of 9, which was a significant difference from the crowded boats we passed by. The crew's hospitality was outstanding, and they prepared delicious snacks and drinks for us to enjoy after a quick swim near the Acantillados. Overall, I strongly recommend this boat trip to anyone who wants to have a wonderful time away from the crowds in Southern Tenerife.
