We enjoyed being in Bhutan recently - The flight from Kathmandu to Paro was very comfortable, flight staff wonderful, descent between mountains was magical. We were warmly greeted by our guide Karma, after passing through the relaxed and pleasant customs. The accommodation was very comfortable. Our guide went out of his way to ensure the meals were varied and often bought and cooked special treats for us. His knowledge of Bhutanese culture and religion was extensive and enriched our experience. We felt truly welcome and through Karma included in the special and everyday aspects of local life. Their kindness, patience, and humor went well beyond the job and clearly reflected the values of Bhutanese culture. Thank you for your part in organizing such a wonderful holiday.
