20th March - Arrival at Paro Airport - Thimphu
Tachogang Lhakhang Bridge - Once you arrive at the Paro International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative (Guide) and then drive to Thimphu (approx. 1hr 30m). On the way visit Tachog gang where an iron chain bridge is built by Thang Thong Gyalpo.
Thimphu Chorten (Memorial Chorten) - The National Memorial was built in 1974 by Her Majesty Ashi Phuntsho in the memorial of the third King.
Tashichho Dzong (Thimpu Dzong) - Visit Tashichodzong. Now it houses the secretariat building, the throne room and the office of the King and central monk body
Thimphu Handicrafts Market - Authentic Craft Bazaar
This is the craft market located at the center of Thimphu. Here you can get authentic Bhutanese
arts and crafts handmade locally.
Jungshi handmade paper factory - The Jungshi factory is reputedly the best place that manufactures traditional paper, made using
an age old method instead of the modern way. Visitors to the paper factory are given a
demonstration of the paper making process.

In this tour, you will be attending Paro Tshechu(Festival) with local folks. Paro Tshechu is the grandest festival celebrated in western Bhutan. You will get to see monks perform sacred mask dances and local folks performing traditional dances. You will see locals dressed in their finest clothes who have walked from miles around to attend the festivities.
