From Ouarzazate to the M’Hamid desert: Agdz, Draa Valley, Zagora, Tamegroute

Tamegroute Pottery and Handcrafts - Stop in Zagora for lunch (free, not included in the price)
In Tamegroute, a stop is planned to visit the Koranic library, the underground kasbah, and the green pottery factory.

From M’Hamid to Chegaga.

M’Hamid - At daybreak, camels await you for a short ride. You will be able to discover the desert from a little higher!

Erg Chigaga - After breakfast, we continue the tour. We stop for lunch and arrive in Chegaga in the afternoon. The highest dune site in Morocco welcomes us for the sunset. Evening meal and overnight in a bivouac in the middle of the desert.

From Chegaga to Ouarzazate

Foum Zguid - After breakfast, we leave Chegaga by the track of Foum Zgid.
A wild landscape of great beauty.

Tazenakht - Stop for lunch (free, not included in the price) in Tazenakht, the carpet capital.

Unforgettable experience ! - Thanks to Mubarak who came to pick us up in Ouarzazate for this adventure to the desert. I wanted to offer my group a simple and authentic adventure. It was perfect ! Mubarak's bivouac already has a lot of charm, but the highlight of the show was the wild bivouac with Ayoub and Hami. The sky was so beautiful, we all slept under the stars in the shelter of the dunes. Bravo for the organization, for the care, for the welcome... Thank you for this experience, we would have liked it to last longer to explore even further! See you soon !

Amazing experience in the desert - Incredible experience, timeless, in a magical and memorable place. The cabins are spacious, warm and very well maintained. Mubarak is an exceptional host as is his entire team. The camp site is located near Tagounite (240km from ourzazate). We went to join him in the village and he guided us to camp. There he offered us various expeditions and we chose to go to the Ghegaga desert to sleep one night. It was amazing, we recommend it without exception. You are looking for a quiet place, with locals, far from tourists and safe, this is the perfect place.

Amazing experience - Sahara Peace provided me with an incredibly unique experience of rural Morocco that I will forever have fond memories of. My guide Lhassan made me feel comfortable and welcomed as a solo traveler. Lhassan was an expert driver, and the route was a loop, so I didn’t see the same thing twice. The camps were clean and peaceful. As an American, I have limited exposure to other other languages, so I appreciated Pascale and Lhassan speaking with me in English. Also consider Sahara Peace’s other offerings like their multi-day camping caravan by camel. It looks like an absolutely magical journey. This tour is definitely an upgrade from the standard group tours to Erg Chebibi from Marrakesh.

If you see - Incredible immersion in the desert. A guide that he led us in search of peace and cultural discoveries. I felt welcomed and comfortable throughout the trip (2 days).

Two nights in the desert - An unforgettable experience, I highly recommend it. The view of the desert from the highest dune is breathtaking. We ate very well and the welcome was impeccable.
