Depart Cape Town and drive along the scenic National road through to Cape Agulhas(Southern point of the African continent) . We visit the Southern tip of Africa and the beautiful lighthouse before we head on to the Garden Route Game Lodge. Enjoy Big 5 sunset safari followed by a delicious 3 Course Dinner (all included). Tonight we stay in beautiful Lodge room or wooden chalets under the clear African skies.

Garden Route Game Lodge to Cape Town via Hermanus and Betty’s Bay
Hermanus - Day 2
Join the early morning game drive to see some of the animals that we maybe didnât see the evening before. Breakfast follows once finished we’ll start to make our way back to Cape Town along the coastal route via Hermanus which is the land-Based whale watching capital of the world (Seasonal) .We’ll explore the local markets before we head to Betty’s Bay where we visit a local penguin colony. Arrival in Cape Town around 5pm & 6pm.

Unforgettable couple of days! - Loved the 2-day experience. Vaughan, our driver and guide, was fantastic. The drive was long but he made several stops and made the ride entertaining (and I really enjoyed seeing the changes in landscape etc). The accommodation at the reserve is superb and we managed to see many animals, it was truly special. Please remember to bring warm clothes, even if the weather during the day is good (on the second day, you leave with the ranger at 7am).

Game Lodge Trip - The trip was very organized! Mawande picked us up on time and drove safely. Nice stops in Betty’s Bay, Hermanus and Kap Agulhas! The stay in the Lodge was amazing, nice rooms and two very interesting game drives.

Definitely worth an experience - - we were able to see all the big fives up close and take lots of photos

- Our guide Mawande answered all our questions and explained and showed us a lot on the way to the lodge.

Be prepared to be astounded! - Best $ ever spent! Starting with pickup at hotel Vaughn the guide and driver was efficient, thoughtful and informative. Dear man looked after all of us and had so many great stories and useful information. Nice music too.
I have been on so many tours all over the world and never saw so much comfortably packed into 2 days! Smooth drive, miles flew by with frequent stops.
The break and lunch stops were easy and at such cool locations. Id be specific but don't want to ruin the surprises that await you if you chose this tour and guide.
The accomodations were deluxe and exotic. The animals were wild and safaris were presented by a local guide and driver. We had Brendon. Funny, informative guy.
The last stop to see penguins up close nearly made me cry.
My first time to South Africa from US. Worth every penny.

Amazing and unforgettable trip - 5* experience everyone should experience.
Firstly our driver and guide Benjamin was amazing, it's a long drive on both days. Benjamin kept us entertained, made sure we had enough toilet and refreshment stops on the way. Then when we got to the lodge, he made sure we were settled in and that everything was with our meals and drives.
The lodge was beautiful and the restaurant food and staff were amazing.
We had two guides for our evening and morning drives, thank you so much Robyn and Sune- they had soo much knowledge about each animal and answered all our questions.
A must do experience when visiting Cape Town, 10 out of 10

Amazing experience - Great trip - loved seeing the animals and our guide was incredibly knowledgeable - any question we asked or comment we made about the animals, they were able to share more insight which made for a great learning experience.

2 day Garden route safari - Chris our guide is absolutely wonderful! He is a walking encyclopedia! I thought he could be a professor at the university!
Excellent driver as well! We have traveled much and have had many guides - he is by far one of the best we have had! He knew when to talk and when to let us relax! A true professional!

A good experience! - I’ll start by saying that the guide I had was fantastic, Frank was extremely polite and made the tour seamless and entertaining. He’s an asset to his company.
The overall tour is great and I would recommend this to anyone who is on a tight schedule and wants to see a lot.
Why this doesn’t get 5 stars, would be due to the Game Lodge itself. The chalets are very dated with uncomfortable beds and I was quite disappointed that I didn’t have a view of the reserve, as when I was booking this and looking at the photos I was led to believe my view wouldn’t be completely obstructed by trees. I would also say that the food isn’t the best here, breakfast was good but everything else was lacklustre.
With a little bit of work from the Game Lodge, this would be a 5 star experience as the safari/drives with the team were amazing.
